Theoretical and practical sessions June 6-14, 2026 (11 meetings, 4 hours each)
The accelerated drawing course combines a path consisting of: intensified development of skills, consolidation of previously acquired knowledge and experience in drawing, as well as a path of regular learning to express oneself through drawing, reflecting reality, and creating imagined worlds.
The course can be taken at all skill levels (A, B, C, D) – instructors adapt an individual program for each participant. A – Beginner

1. SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 2026 / Freehand Drawing - Theory and Practice (Drawing from Observation)
Main activity - implementation of a drawing exercise, individual discussions and corrections; discussion of problems during the task.
Class topic: Drawing from Observation - spatial composition using cuboid structural elements and complementary forms based on still life.
2. SUNDAY, JUNE 7, 2026 / Freehand Drawing - Theory and Practice (Drawing from Observation)
Main activity - discussion of homework during a group presentation of works, implementation of a drawing exercise, individual discussions and corrections. During the class: discussion of the principles of proper observation of the presented phenomenon and the essence of using chiaroscuro in presenting a drawing subject; principles of aerial perspective, methods of valorization, and the essence of presenting various textures. The work is based on the simultaneous presentation of important issues and individual discussions/corrections during the drawing exercise.

3. MONDAY, JUNE 8, 2026 / Freehand drawing - theory and practice (drawing from imagination)
Main activity - discussion of the homework assignment during a group presentation of works, implementation of a drawing exercise, individual discussions - corrections. Presentation of the work topic and discussion of the approach to the problem and the course of action. Exercises based on the principles of construction using example solids (cuboid, cylinder, sphere, cone)
while maintaining proper proportions and the principles of perspective, taking into account chiaroscuro; multiple repetitions / interpenetration of solids.

4. TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2026 / Freehand drawing - theory and practice (drawing from imagination) Imagination)
Main activity - discussion of the homework assignment during a group presentation of the works, completion of a drawing exercise, individual conversations - corrections. Presentation of the work topic, approach to the problem, and direction of work. Discussion of preliminary concepts of the proposed solution and development of the appropriate response to the developed, imagined spatial situation based on the theme/symbol. Individual implementation of the task while maintaining proper proportions and the principles of perspective, taking into account chiaroscuro.

5. WEDNESDAY, 10.06.2026 / Freehand drawing - theory and practice (drawing from imagination)
Main activity - discussion of the homework assignment during a group presentation of the works, completion of a drawing exercise, individual conversations - corrections. Discussion of the work topic, approach to the problem, and direction of work. The main task is to develop one's own imagined spatial situation based on a selected element (small object), multiplied while maintaining proper proportions and the principles of perspective, taking into account chiaroscuro.

Presentation of the work topic, method of representing a figure on a sheet of paper (framing, proportions, construction, chiaroscuro); preliminary sketches, figure study; value drawing

7. FRIDAY, 12.06.2026 / Freehand drawing - theory and practice (drawing from imagination)
Main activity - discussion of the homework assignment during a group presentation of works, implementation of a drawing exercise, individual conversations - corrections. Presentation of a sample Discussion of the thesis topic and discussion of the approach and direction of the work.
The task involves creating your own spatial composition, responding to a specific theme, using selected solids, maintaining the correct proportions and principles of perspective, taking into account chiaroscuro (e.g., city: city – greenery, city – people, city – light and shadow, etc.).

Presentation of the work topic and implementation of the assignment, taking into account the principles of perspective, proportion, and light and shade. The work is based on the simultaneous implementation of the drawing exercise, discussion of relevant issues during the class, as well as individual discussions – corrections.

10. SUNDAY, 14.06.2026 / Freehand Drawing – Theory and Practice (Drawing from Imagination)
Main Project - Discussion of the homework assignment during a group presentation of works, completion of a drawing exercise, individual discussions – corrections. Presentation of the work topic, approach to the problem, and direction of action. The task involves developing your own imagined spatial situation based on a given topic related to the presentation of a design concept (architectural fragments – interior design elements, small architecture); individual implementation of the task while maintaining appropriate proportions and the principles of perspective, taking into account chiaroscuro. The work is based on the development and discussion of preliminary concepts for the proposed solution and the implementation of the appropriate response to the topic, presentation of proposed, simplified projections of the given model, and a drawn visualization using a human-level perspective.

SUNDAY, June 14, 2026 / Freehand Drawing – Theory and Practice (Imagination Drawing)
Main activity – discussion of the homework assignment during a group presentation of the work, completion of a drawing exercise, individual discussions – corrections. Presentation of the work topic and implementation of the task, taking into account the principles of perspective, proportion, and chiaroscuro. The task involves creating your own spatial composition in response to a specific theme, while adhering to the principles of perspective and taking into account chiaroscuro. The task involves designing a space with a specific function, an architectural object in an urban context, a commercial interior, etc. The work is based on a simultaneous drawing exercise, discussion of relevant issues during the course, and individual discussions and corrections.
